=========================================================== Act 1 Scene 7 - Team Buggem by Gama Master (GM) ----------------------------------------------------------- Apollo and Redmond stood watch over the ant hill while many of the team went off in search of the flyer. Boy and Skeeter went out into the forest area looking for signs of the buggems. Jiro decided since this group was shorthanded to stick with Apollo and Redmond. After about an hour of searching Skeeter and Boy find a tunnel entrance. It is about 300 feet to the west of the ant hill and about 100 feet to the north. It is fairly well hidden in the underbrush of the forest. Exposing his partial carapace mutation and the strange skin color . Having found the tunnel and the entrence, Boy signals Skeeterr to stay and hide to watch for activity nearby. boy will Move Silently until about 100 yrds, away then run back to the group remaining. Seeing Boy making his way back post haste, informs the others of his imminent arrival so that everybody can be preapred for anything that may be following. =========================================================== Re: Act 1 Scene 7 - Team Buggem by boy ----------------------------------------------------------- boy will kneel in front of Jiro and smooth out a place in the dirt to make a map of where the farm is, the buggem hill, the river, the hole in the field and the hole where Skeeter now stands guard. boy tries to draw a conclusion as to where the buggems are going. boy then scratches out a sign in the dirt. To Jiro, "I goin back to hole, follow when able. Looking around is there string, wool, yarn and some pots or tins to make a trip line that would make a noise if anything was moving about and giving Boy something to use to communicate to us silently. "As everything seems to be gone there should be nothing to disturb trip lines" noting the void of animal noises "what is our plan?, if we are going to wait, maybe some of us should get some rest as it will probably be a long night, as cockroaches and the like usually come out at night" making a half baked assumption. =========================================================== Re: Act 1 Scene 7 - Team Buggem by Apollo ----------------------------------------------------------- Apollo shrugs, making plans obviously not his forte. Boy goes back to the hole where Skeeter is still waiting. There is no movement from the hole or from the ant hill that anyone can see. =========================================================== Re: Act 1 Scene 7 - Team Buggem by Jiro ----------------------------------------------------------- "Prepare for the worst and you won't be disapointed" Jiro sets up a noisy trap for anyone attempting to come from the basement and has them prepared for the front and back door, nails several plank over the windows on ground floor to hinder access as well as ensuring that windows are locked and need to be broken for access, have large objects (wardrobs) to push over behind doors or slid across windows if the need arises. After the initial set up, Jiro will look to see where he can string up a few noise makers around the house using what is available ie veranda, trees, sheds, cloth line so as not to look out of place as it gets dark so that he is not observed. "Any other ideas?" "If the buggems come, we're going to have a lot of trouble holding them off here. Wasn't the point just to keep an eye on them?" He looks a bit abashed at having said this, but presses on. "I don't know about the ones you fought, but some of the ones we fought had crossbows. After another couple of hours it is very dark outside. Jiro and Redmond have fortified the farm house as best as can be managed. (I need to let the Flyer group catch up but you can still converse if there is in character discussion that needs to take place) =========================================================== Re: Act 1 Scene 7 - Team Buggem by boy ----------------------------------------------------------- boy will find a nook in some tree branches and set up for a surveilence of the tunnel. boy will whisoer, close to Skeeter, "Awl take first watch. Wake you after a quater sky turn." boy then stays still, watches and minds the wind change. Wakes up Skeeter after a few hours. If nothing happens until dawn. At dawn nip down and look for tracks and begin following any tracks present. Tracks of buggems that is. =========================================================== |
